Internet

Oslo Airport is introducing free wireless Internet access.

When you are in the airport, use your mobile phone number to request a username and password at Oslo Airport’s IP zone logon portal. Select«Free Wi-Fi» and follow the instructions on the page. You will then receive your username and password as a text message to your mobile phone. This gives you two hours of free net surfing from the time you log on.

If you use a smartphone you can click the link at the bottom of the SMS for automatic logon to free wifi. If you need more time, feel free to use other free services and pay services that are available at Oslo Airport.

In addition to this, there are 14 internet stations in various locations in the airport. You will find them at Domestic Departures, International Departures, and by the information counter in the Arrivals hall. These stations are operated by TS Procon.

Powerkiss – wireless charging of your mobile phone
Did you know you can charge your mobile phone wirelessly at the airport? The service is called Powerkiss, and it is available at the restaurants Christiania Bar and Monolitten, Upper Crust International, and also in the OSL Lounge.

You charge your phone by connecting it to a wireless charger. Such chargers are handed out at the cash registers in the restaurants mentioned above, against a deposit of NOK 200. Once the charger is connected, you place your phone on one of the charging stations, and your telephone battery is charged wirelessly.

Powerkiss is also used at many other European airports, so you may keep the charger if you prefer and reuse it elsewhere.
