In Norway, VAT is included in the sales price and makes up to 20% of the pricetag. Vat operator associated shops offer residents outside Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark a 12-19 % refund upon departure.

Tax Free Worldwide Norway AS
Make sure you ask for a TAX FREE Shopping cheque when you spend 315 NOK or more in one shop. Fill out your name, adress and creditcardnumber on the cheque before arriving at the airport. Ticket and goods must be shown to Gardermoen Servicesenter's counter in departure hall. The staff will stamp your Tax Free form and the refund will be posted to your account within 4-6 weeks.
