The European Consumer Center has developed a regulation to ensure the necessary passenger assistance in case of flight cancellation, long delay and denied boarding. Passengers may also be entitled to financial compensation for damaged, delayed and lost baggage.
In case of a canceled or delayed flight, and denied boarding, you may have the right to assistance and financial compensation from your airline. This may include food and beverages, telephone calls, hotel accommodation, transport between airports and an alternative flight.
