Passenger numbers at Oslo Airport rebounded in April, showing a sharp 12.1% increase over April 2012. Due to moveable public holidays, the figures for March and April provide a more correct picture when they compiled. This provides a growth rate of 3.8%, putting Oslo Airport back on the growth track.
For the 33rd month in a row, Oslo Airport has seen its passenger numbers rise compared with the previous year. In January 2013, 1,523,297 passengers travelled through Oslo Airport, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%. The number of international passengers rose 3.3%, while domestic traffic decreased by 0.7%.
Travellers arriving at Oslo Airport from abroad will now encounter the work of a world-renowned painter. The Terminal has been adorned with Edvard Munch reproductions in connection with the Munch’s 150th Anniversary Exhibition. The exhibit is presented behind the Duty-Free shop and near the escalator going down to the arrival area.
